We live in a world of favorites. Everyone will talk of my favorite meal, my favorite car, my favorite TV show among other favorable things. Coming to sport, everyone is closely knit to a certain sport. Many peoples favorite may be playing soccer, playing basket ball and others are just fans of these games. In the midst of all these, I am also not left behind since I love watching the nine member team game of bat-and ball. Therefore, my favorite sport to watch is baseball with my favorite team being Atlanta Braves.
Why baseball

The popularity of baseball is not just a thing of the late twentienth century but can be traced even back in the nineteeth century. One wuld wonder why it seems interesting to watch nine versus nine players all determine to bat a ball and be declared a winner out of making the most runs. One of the most interesting things in a baseball pitch is to watch whole body skills at work. Baseball requires that not only you have physical skills of running and batting, but also you portray a mental alertness to its best and braveness (book,p  4). It is definitely fascinating to watch a determined outfielder race for a high flying ball an accurately catch it while still on the run. It is also equally mesmerizing to see an infielder put his skills in action by smartly scooping a bill from the ground while the ball is still moving so fast and then hurl it right to the appropriate base. Courage is at the heart of every baseball player and I always feel nice being associated with these brave persons who can dare encounter a high speed ball approaching them with only a few inches wide bat.

Much as I like watching any baseball, I am deeply attached to the Atlanta Braves and this is my favorite team. The name Braves itself is in line with what I believe is a major component of baseball. The Atlanta Braves are definitely courageous. Watching Jeff Francoeur relentlessly bat the balls and Tom Glavine do the racing is a thrilling experience for one gets assured that nothing but a win will come out of the game (NOW YOU). What of having the fans involved in the activities of the Braves. One almost feels as if you are the real player when bravely following the drumline among other cultures involved in the sports. I enjoy the drumline and singing Petey Pablos song which makes the Heavy Hitters an experience never to be missed. Being given a chance to show your skills to your best team is a real teamwork event. I am in fact looking forward towards becoming a lead in the entertainment of the Atlanta Braves.

I always feel satisfied having spent the large part of my summer watching baseball and more so my favorite team. Watching players do what they do best in this game with gusto is a confidence building experience. I like it when I see skills being put into competition with right hand battering being weighed against left hand pitching. Batting and running with all your energy gives me confidence to face my challenges with courage and assurance that I will win no matter what.

For sure, baseball is the game to watch not only for the purpose of being entertained but also to build your courage and confidence in facing every challenge in life.
